What did you have to modify on the fans?
I had to trim some flanges that stick out near the top and on the bottom. Made the shroud flush.

part of the reason they need a stock file is because when you get your tune it will overwrite the stock file, should you need to put the stock file back on it is included with the tune file they send you, you will get 4 files (minimum) 1 ecm tune, 1 tcm tune, 1 stock ecm tune, 1 stock tcm tune. you may also get whatever else you may have requested, ie. tow tune, econo tune, 89 or 92 tune, etc.

Installed a propane conversion kit on our trusty harbor freight generator in preparation for our Yellowstone camping trip in August. Shown here before I finished up the connections. A little adjustment and it fired right up on propane. This way we don’t have to carry any extra gasoline with us.

Does Harbor Freight carry these conversion kits, or where did you get it? Also, how long would this genny run on a 20lb grill propane bottle?

Note that if you buy the retail propane exchange gas you're getting only 15 lbs.
Yes, it allows for expansion. I also have a 120 gallon (420lbs) tank that's only used for the heater in my garage, but that only holds 96 gallons when full due to expansion.

I'm just curious about how long of a run time a 3000-4000w generator would get off a propane cylinder and how that would compare to just one tank of gas.

Well, it's only been about 24 hours. But I'm pretty sure the Cold Case is running 15 to 25° cooler than the factory garbage...
However I am running a 160° thermostat, so cruising down the highway 70° ambient, 65 mph, coolant temps were down to 170 ish
This afternoon similar situation, ambient was 90° coolant was around 185-190, maxing at 200.

Did you remember to put a restrictor in the port going to the surge tank?

!shoot dang!
Is there a particular size orifice I need to shrink it down to?
No, I was in such a hurry to get the job done so I can make it work next morning, totally forgot.
I ordered a water pump and radiator hoses, everything should be here Monday so I'll probably let it ride until then.
Thanks for the reminder, got too much going on lately, I can't keep track of crap! Lol
