Thanks! I haven't been on forums for a while, used to be into VWVortex and a Tacoma forum back in the day. I comfortable enough working on this truck I figured it would be a good thing to join up again. Looking forward to learning from y'all.

That's awesome! I didn't really wrench on my 2011 A4 or my current 15 GTI (not super tech savvy) so I haven't been on there in years, ever since I sold my 99 A4...I should try an log in one of these days haha.

I've been listening to the sound of a dry bearing when the A/C compressor is OFF the last few days. It goes quiet when the compressor clutch engages. Began on cold starts only but it's ramping up to be slight but always there now.

So I'm asking myself what's the chances it's:

1. the old dried out belt I haven't changed yet. $
2. a sympathetic squeak from a failing idler. $$
3. the compressor clutch. $$$

I'm placing my bets on door number 3.

My ac compressor has been squeaking when running.
Slowly getting worse.
I added some oil to the compressor/ac system, 0 change.

biting the bullet and replacing the entire compressor while everything is easy to get to.

Anyone have air helper bag kit in the rear with lowered springs? Going to be renting an RV and don’t want rear end sagging to much.

I did have when I had my 6" drop springs.

I still have the helper bags and springs, just not in the truck anymore... lol

The ones you need for lowering springs are for the rear end of a Nissan Armada... can't remember Airlifts part number off the top of my head. I know the part number is in my build thread somewhere.
