No, mine's a 2005 Z71 2WD package. Only year they made those. 200,000 miles and still going strong. Preventive maintenance is the key.

Roof rack lights were a mod I did using halogen lights I got off Ebay. Hooked them up to the trailer hitch wiring harness with a switch under dash also for lighting things up really good at night. Really good for putting the trailer ball directly under the hitch at night. With backup camera of course.

Swapping the cluster for the tranny gauge is an option, but more expensive and you will still have to have it reprogrammed for correct odometer reading. I put in blue LED's in mine at the same time.

Wheels are 2007 Yukon.

Ok, 2wd huh. Interesting. It looks like the rack light mount spots are already tilted down to likely the correct angle so the mounting would be easier to accomplish.

Yes, here is a picture of what GM had made to go there, but the govt wouldn't let them do it.

Denali cluster also has it if you can't find or don't like the Escalade cluster. Yes- plug-and-play. Hell, I plugged a Denali cluster into my '02 S10 and the trans temp gauge worked. All the gauges worked, tach was off (S10 was a V-6).

Pretty sure you'll need a late-year '03 or '04+ cluster, though. You'll also need to have the mileage programmed.

I think the 2500 hd trucks had transmission temp as well, if he wanted to keep a more stock look

Are they plug and play as well? Any year specs on that or are the useful years the same as above, 2003-2005?

Just picked up the rig. Front bumper scrapes gone, mirror panel caps painted and can now see the new rear wiper where the paint is not flaking off.

By the way, my cost for labor and materials, out the door, for the front bumper, both mirrors, complete all around touch up where needed and the entire buff out was $650. I tipped the entire shop enough money for dinner at their favorite Mexican restaurant. Also took home a jar of touch up paint.

The HD clusters would be the same deal as the Esky and Denali clusters--03-05 and also PnP. I'm not sure about diesel clusters. I'd think the tach would be a little different. Not sure about oil and volts either.

Yea, I did not want to assume on the years that would work and I was betting that the diesel cluster would be different and best to stick with gas but wanted to ask. Thanks.

You could check with Carl if you want to get something that's been totally re-done, and with the tranny gauge. https://www.fixmygauges.com/

When DDS was rebuilding them I sent mine to get all new backlighting LEDs, stepper motors, and the tranny gauge. He programs the VIN and mileage. I understand that he no longer repairs them, but I think his son may have taken that part over.

So, I sent an email to this guy this morning. Will let you know what he says when/if he responds back.

I just got an email back from the fixmygauges guy and I just ordered the 2500HD dash with regular backlighting and the white pointers with the silver centers. Is a completely reman unit shipped for free for $250. This guy is very straight forward to deal with and responds quickly to any questions. I appreciate @Fless for turning me on to him.

@Tonyrodz, I appreciate the cluster offer but I want to look close to stock with the white pointers and the trans temp gauge set up.

As usual, I will post pics when installed.

Good decision Ron. I can't wait to see how it looks.

I am chomping at the bit for those Hellwig sway bar kits but the ebay order states that the kits are built when ordered and I am not due them till first of Feb. It's ok because I knew of the time frame when ordering and the best price i could find was at ebay.

Just got the order # and the USPS tracking number for the new cluster. That was quick to say the least. The warranty is 1 year but if I return my old cluster to him, free shipping that he sent a return for, I get a lifetime warranty on the cluster. Like he says on his website, "All others can kiss his ass!"
