Geewiz RM That’s nice to know after the fact! I was in the same boat using an OEM bolt, but I had leverage like you mentioned above plus the addition of a flywheel stop tool. Still felt like I was going to break something. Afterwards I decided that I need to install a lift in a garage/shop that has a heated floor. That’s why I use the ARP bolt. Apply their lube, torque it once and done. And I use a big ass torque wrench with a pipe over the handle. It’s all about leverage.
Ooooo, I'm still fantasizing about a garage with a lift and a heated floor!Geewiz RM That’s nice to know after the fact! Daydreaming...BUT I’m going to actually “retire” [again] soon. And I’m serious this time. Plus with my wife being a doctor who will soon have her own practice, I’d say it’s high time for me to make up for the last 10 years of devoted servitude. It’s only fair...am I right?

I think we cleaned out stock last year around this time.. me, doubie and a few others bought them up... sorry MikeyI wish I could find a heated steering wheel, the arthritis in my hands would love this in the winter months. It seems all of them have been bought up, and they are discontinued from GM... It's really sad. I have searched for over a year and it's hopeless. I refuse to get a used one, so I've been searching for good heated gloves instead.
Well shit, with money like that just pay someone to work on it while you sip martinis by the pool...lolwell Tony, if we had his money.... we could burn ours.....
Damn Doctors with their own practices....
And, might I add, retarted once and going for a round 2..... damn double dippers.....![]()
