Question for you all that have the 4L60e- how hard is it to install the vette servo with the trans in the vehicle? My factory reman didn’t come with one, and I didn’t get it in time to do it with the trans out of the vehicle.
I know in my S10 it wasn’t bad at all to do but i just watched a video on a GMT800 and its very tight.

I had to replace a section of cast iron as well, only problem is it was buried under my concrete basement floor and ran directly under my furnace. Said screw it and ran PVC overhead to another stand pipe down stream and capped the pipe off. Dig out a 18” x 6’ section of my floor at first only to find it was bad under the furnace. Dug up a 18x18 section by the other stand pipe to cut off and cap the abandoned section. My problem was the bad section also handled my 2nd floor bathroom so I had roughly 60 gallons of literal crap I had to dig out of the trench before I filled it back in and put in new concrete.

She got a wash & wax today. Waiting on my 2/3” drop kit from Tony to get it looking and riding right.

Not sure how I feel about the yellow fogs. Put them on a couple weeks ago. Kinda ruins the sleek look.

My 13 hoe took out a K2 RST tahoe at a light today...... not really but I like to think I did..... lol.

He was stopped and I snuck up on him in the right lane, I was rolling and he had no idea I was there because if he did I would have needed some wood screws for my doors..... ;)

I didn't have much of an issue with mine, but I did it with the engine out and the trans resting on a 2x4 on the cross member. This let me shift it to the driver side a few inches for more working room. There's a convenient hump in the floor pan where you can rest the end of a pry bar against to act as a fulcrum for pushing inward on the cover. I did this to measure how much travel it had to know how much, if any, I needed to trim the longer pin (I didn't) as well as to remove tension from the retaining ring to pop it out and in.

Tons of driving today 250 miles to look at one. Was junked out beyond my will didn’t think it would even make it home. Found a 11 Yukon I had my eye on for a while. 84k on odometer. Decent deal. So bought it this evening then drove the 250 miles home. So here we are the silver bullet.

Well I got my converter the other day, came with a sweet t shirt too.

I actually had to go into work this week and teach a class, but I'm off for the next week's to do some QC of courses coming out of development and into production. BTW, developers feeling get hurt really easy.

No doubt. Here’s my latest “joy” of home ownership. It’s the last piece of cast iron drain lines I hope. My kitchen sink has been draining into my crawl space for who knows how long, it’s completely rusted through. I have a guy coming in a couple days to replace it with ABS. Then I have some air movers I’m gonna borrow to remove the moisture. Sucks. Doing without a kitchen sink for a few days now.

That pipe doesn't look that bad to me... it's only leaking on the bottom.

If you just have the plumber turn the pipe over you could probably get another 10-15 years out of it.
