When you change your transmission fluid it should be all black and sparkly looking correct? Ha! Holy smokes was I shocked and disappointed in waiting this long. Hell, You could mix the gear oil from either differential together with the Mobil 1 5W30 inside the oil filter and still pour out a cleaner, more clear liquid than the $hit I just sucked out of my transmission. Now I’m scared to drop the pan, but I know my Denali will thank me when I’m done.

*FYI: I did have a broken trans dipstick tube so how much of that dark tint is the result of dust and dirt from the roads?

Here is proof to any of the new owners or young guys out there who might consider “nah ill get to it later”, or “it can wait until the weather warms up”. Nope! I’m sure glad that I didn’t wait any longer on this fluid/filter change.

I had a similar deal with my equinox. Figured out how to change it. It was a “non serviceable” deal. No dip stick. But found that there was a filler cap and a way to do it diy. Thing shifts better now.

Fixed the main issue I had. Went with just fixing the broke valve spring only to make sure that was it before spending a chunk changing them all. I now noticed this sound on the other side. It was happening before the break down but now I’m paranoid. Think I’m gonna take a peak under that cover tomorrow.

Thanks. I've only seen them referred as the Ck375 as well. There's a guy on facebook with a set of 22s for sale for $900 but he claims that they're OE off his escalade. Truth be told i mostly see these on sierras/ silverados so I wasn't sure if he *** full of it or not

I've always seen them referred to as CK375 style. Google says this cross references to GM part 88966249.

This.

Apple tracks everything. Google tracks everything. Every single app you install on your phone monitors and data mines us.

This is why when I installed all my Amazon devices containing Alexa in the house, and my wife got all pissy, I explained to her she’s already being tracked and monitored by her phone.

Jenn kinda got the same way. Then I reminded her of how all those pertinent ads pop up on her Facebook of stuff she's shopped for on Amazon and the ads on Amazon of stuff she's mentioned on Facebook. Also of how we have nothing to hide and if someone wants to listen in to display possibly pertinent ads on media on which we're gonna be seeing ads of some sort anyway, then have at it. We have more pressing things to be concerned with.

You don’t even have to buy it. Talk about a product one day while Facebook app is open and a couple days later you’ll get ads for it.

They're a factory Denali wheel. They could be OE off his Escalade- OE Denali wheels that he formerly had on his Escalade. Gotta read between the lines, brah.

Yup. Many times her response to an ad is/was "we were JUST talking about this". If seeing possibly pertinent ads is the sacrifice for the conveniences and cool factors of the devices, then I'll just have to manage.

That's happened to us, gf's phone was on the table--but it was off--not powered off, just off. We were talking about a certain type of sheet, and what do you know.....

Are those really the only two options? $87 for what amounts to a giant syringe with hoses, or $8 for junk.

What about an intermediate solution like this? I'd pay $32 for a decent pump. Not sure about $87.

I've had one something like this for a couple of years. IT works well for draining the transmission through the fill tube.

So after sitting over night the noise fixed itself... I started it up after looking over for any bolt heads missing in the exhaust manifold. I found none. After starting I didn’t notice the clacking like in the video I posted last night. The vid I’m posting now is within a minute of a cold start at 34 degrees outside. And it got a little more quiet after warm up. Been driving now for half hour and nothing unusual.

I think I’m going to put some atf in the oil and change it soon. I forgot to mention when I put the lifters back on on the drivers side I pulled the pushrods out and cleaned them. They had a good amount of carbon. What I should of done is try to spray down the oil passage. Oh well.
