Up here to the right
mine wasn't working no matter what you did, the tech2 would always show "fuel economy mode" even if the voltage was under 12v and I had everything on.
I can only assume it was bad batteries, works fine now with new batteries and the grounds both connected to each other.
Yes I remember, glad you worked it out doubie

plus I forgot about the wipers on for more than 3 secs does it too

Completed the work on my tahoe
I'm exhausted.

new O-ring installed
New pan gasket
oil pressure bypass in the pan has been replaced, and a deflector added.
Added an oil pickup tube support (I didn't cheap out, but probably should have).
New front axle mounts installed while i was in there.

I pulled the crank plate thingy, took a flash light to look at the cam bearings.
I didn't go crazy detailed with it, but everything looked great.

And i changed the oil pressure sender, and the screen under it.
The screen looked surprisingly good.
I was expecting crud in there...

Fresh fill of oil... ran the engine.
Not much change. :Insane:

Oil pressure seems a bit more steady, but the gauge still flutters a little.
It's maybe slightly higher hot... (or i'm just telling my self that to make me feel better).

Driving it, better pressure rise than before, goes over 40... it seems a little delayed tho.

I swapped oil filter brands for why the f not, no change. :boobs:

Maybe it's something with the bypass in the pump it self?
I did look to see if i could get to the bypass to clean/inspect, but it's blocked by the front cover.

Calling it good enough.
I have AFM disabled, and its plenty high enough for a non DOD/AFM engine IMO.

Still odd that it suddenly dropped...

I have been thinking about buying a cordless impact but decided on this one thanks to you. The others were $200 without a battery and are big. I like this compact design with about the same torque.

I used the new impact for the first time yesterday and i love it.

For the size it's really quite powerful.
Running it at about 110psi.

I ran it pretty good out of the box to seat the impeller things, plenty of oil etc.

It's my new go-to impact. :happy160:
