For some reason it looks Aussie to me. Is the driver on the left?

It looks kinda like the illegitimate love child of a Del Sol and a "Chick" body style S-10 pickup.

But it's probably not entirely a bastard.

Wish I could see the front better, from the side it kinda looks like maybe an Acura RSX front end... maybe???

Looks almost like some of the weird rigs you see down under.

looked like a Holden but he was zipping along and no badges.

There used to be a guy around here that restored that generation truck. Seemed to only be GMCs he would work over. I’m talking tearing them down to the frame and making brand new, not just some tires and wheels. I always admired his focus on the project.
