Happened at the car wash. I took the nut off and took the arm off. The inside of the hole and the outside shaft is stripped smooth. Looks like some corrosion got in there and weakened it.

Lookslike ya need to take it off and have the hole welded and painted to look like it never had one. Well thats what if like to do :happy107:

Thinking about it. Or at least just putting a cap on it and have a small ***** sticking out of the tailgate. That rear squirting hole could come in handy shooting tailgaters too.

Just replaced my ISS and started on the Dorman Y/coolant lines.

Is there some trick to get the line off from the firewall? I just watched a video and he got it off pretty quickly but, mine will not budge. Is there a tool to help the removal ?

easiest way is to take some long pliers and snap the short plastic tabs off the sides and then they come right off, otherwise you might be fighting it forever (literally)

That just doesn't sound fun!

yeah its not. It’s very messy, i got to crawl around cause I dont have a car lift and itll make the shop stink for awhile. It looks so nice when its done...to bad that only lasts until i start driving around and then it turns into a dirty brownish mess. Its got the consistency of a chocolate syrup haha

dun!

Appreciate the info, I was considering breaking it off but was not sure about the fitting behind it.
Thanks
