God etrailer is always awesome. Who in sam hell would expect them to know, and document a FREAKING NUT SIZE?!!?
Where can i buy it so I can put the spare under it?
I've looked at that page a few times and knew the photo of the fusebox was on there, but didn't recall the nut sizes being detailed. Lucked out, if they're right!
EDIT: I was impressed how easy my Tekonsha brake controller was to wire up in mine, with all the wiring in place and just the right pigtail to connect it under the dash. Truly PnP.

Well today my new spare hoist came. Got that bad boy mounted, got a new tire on the spare rim, and gave the spare rim a paint job with some anti rust stuff from rustoleum. I took a few minutes to grind it down a little with a wire wheel, but its far from perfect. It just wont be a complete embarrassment if I have to roll on it in the future. lol.
I took the time, finally after like 16 months of it sitting on my shelf, to use the fluid film anti-rust undercoating kit I bought awhile ago. For awhile, I was scared of it, thought it would be a huge mess, thought I would screw it up, etc etc etc. Well, last year when I sold my exs fathers truck, the guy I sold it to had a custom corvette shop here in indy. He had a wash station with a lift, so I was all, KICK ASS! I made him a deal that included me coming to use it when the burb came home. Well....I pinged him last night to see if we could make that happen. Turns out after 50 some years in business.....the pandemic got em and the business is closed. Well crap.
I just did it in my driveway, was very little mess, it was awesome to apply, the kit was perfect. I want to see if my mechanic will let me borrow his lift some time, I want to go over it again when I have a better field of view. But for now, it looks ok, and it serves its purpose.
