Luckily for me, I don't have any issues, no skeletons and my schedule is super flexible with most being work from home... stable job, she has insurance through me. She has her own room/bed all the stuff a spoiled kid would have. My credit is pretty much perfect... no weapons, just OTC medicine here.
So that's all good news for me, just normal traffic infractions, speeding etc.

that's good, only advice I can give on top of that is take a parenting class, they don't take long and you will receive a "certificate" that's just one extra thing to have under your belt in your favor, us men are usually screwed via the court system they tend to give things in favor of the women so anything we can do to swing things the other way helps, being that she is lying thru her teeth you need any proof on paper you can get, police reports of her violating the order, anything you can get your hands on. I would also recommend recording phone calls, text's, meetings between you and her and with either lawyer (if she has one). child support is a whole other thing, your going to want her to live with you while she attends school, if she lives with her and attends school there going to want child support or More child support than if she was with you more than 50% of the time, try to have her live with you and attend school and she gets weekends and split the holidays. when the time comes to meet with the mediator before seeing the judge share everything you have with the mediator.

great! that way you can say you are doing your best to do the right thing for your daughter and have something to back it up with the courts like that kind of stuff. And don't say anything to her about it keep it to yourself the less she knows the better.

Correction, she's a narcissistic sociopath. Lots of them in my family and they have cost us a large fortune too. The courts and lawyers get rich off of them, they are in no hurry to resolve anyone's case because they all get enriched for dragging them on in one way or another, it's disgusting. Dealt with this broken and corrupt system for decades, it's maddening.

Glad you got your truck back. Don't bee too trusting of your lawyers. Read up on the laws and make them use them. Too often they want to deal and ignore the law, same with the judges. Control the case, don't let it or the lawyers control you. Set goals and go after them relentlessly but tactfully.

yep always keep in mind that you two can always come to a agreement outside of court, have it written up and notarized

if someone calls you then I am pretty sure you have the right to record it, calling them is probably different.
otherwise answering machines would have always been illegal. there are app's in google and the apple store to install that you can use to record your cell phone calls

**reason being also if someone calls you they have no reasonable expectation of privacy you could be on speakerphone, conference phone, in a public place, etc

one guy rear ended me and said I cut him-off, video proved that was a lie
another guy ran a red light and we collided in the middle of the intersection, insurance initially called it 50/50 but video proved otherwise and I got my deductible refunded and the accident was 100% the other party per my insurance.

Gents and ladies....

So someone took my 2012 Yukon Denali. There is only 1 key and fob. I just had a replacement key made, but the dealer said it's not tied to the car so it won't start.

I have to go and pick it up, because the other person stopped paying me to use the car, stopped carrying insurance and apparently they don't have a valid DL.

I have since purchased insurance to cover me or else my DL was going to be suspended.
The car is in my name only (registration).... loan is in my name only and title is with the lien-holder (bank).

This is a 2WD model I believe according to the VIN. It does not say AWD.

Anyone have any options? Repo companies don't want to get involved. Tow Truck companies are saying, thanks but no thanks. The courts are not doing anything right now due to coronavirus.

Does anyone know if the key does have to be programmed by a locksmith or dealer to turn the car over?
Will the alarm go off if I put in a key and unlock it? If so, quicker to pop the hood and 10mm disconnect on the battery or pulling a fuse faster?

Any other suggestions? I've been paying for months on the car, now paying for insurance and I don't need this additional liability to carry on.

It's legal for me to go and get the car, I just can't "break the peace"..i.e. disturb it to get my property back. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I only read the first page. It's yours so go get it. I do rent to own and have it to where if there insurance drops then the contract is in default and i report the vehicle stolen. Most of the time i would have gps installed and i just take my vehicle. When you retrieve the vehicle and they still have the keys , dont give their belongings until they produce the keys and fob to you. Also storage fees are added each day for their things. Always protect your investment. Because a person will claim to have three jobs when they get the vehicle and a month later now they have no job to pay you lol. Be vigilant and mean about collecting.

Had a long discussion with LEO in person. I might see some action for violations come early next week. I will know more possibly Monday or Tuesday. Supposedly there is a very high success rate of warrants getting signed by the judge. I'm not holding my breath... Too many times she's gotten away with things and skirted the law.
