The driver looks like a 'dealer' LOL...

Not many manual first gens any more.Always wanted one of these 1st gens.Snapped these last Friday. The '69 seemed to be borderline pro touring. The '67-'68 seemed pure resto other than the wheels and exhaust. It sounded sooo good and the ol' dude was rowing a shifterNot many manual first gens any more.

I've kinda been keeping my eyes out for a clean roller. I can't have a numbers-matching resto cuz I wanna mod it unapologetically.

Back in high school I could've bought--67 or 68 Camaro. Had a 327 Vette motor. Car needed interior and paint work, but it was all there and no rust! For $500!! I was a kid and didn't have itMe too. Want a 68...

Nice. When I was in school(1987)kid had just bought from the original owner a 69(?)Firebird convertible with a 400. Car was burgundy with black top, and it was just redone(not restored). Guy had put overstuffed interior panels in it. I don't remember if it was auto or stick, but he paid $4500 for it--back then that wasn't cheap. Beautiful car.Over in Dan Diego, my brother who PROCRASTINATES, has , in his rental home garage,..for the last 25 years, and, has not moved..... His 1969 Pontiac Firebird convertible / 350 cid.... Needs work, but CRAP.. He won't let it go!!!
I know where there's a '72 Charger with a Big Block Chrysler in it and OG Cragar wheels with a Dana 40 sitting in the woods. The owner is my dad's uncle and he's letting it sit there and rot ON PURPOSE!!!Over in Dan Diego, my brother who PROCRASTINATES, has , in his rental home garage,..for the last 25 years, and, has not moved..... My dad drove it in high school and one day his uncle just decided to park it and not let anyone touch it. The day they got the big block in the car and running, my dad's great grandfather did a quarter mile long burnout outside their house. I can't wait to have a moment like thatGotta get some pics of that and post them up! What's the story on that one?
