My son and I spent about 2-3hrs today putting these eufy permanent LED lights under our dock. Total linear footage is 300’. We did the first 150’ to see how bright they would be on water tonight. And then we would do round 2 tomorrow. Needless to say, i was impressed!

On another note.. we got some revised plans from our architect today. We got the square footage dialed wayyyy back now so I’m happy. But we still need some more things tweaked to our likings. Will probably deal with that when we get back to FL.

Dock passed electrical inspection today too.

We got the second run lit up last night. Only downside is I have to use Bluetooth to turn them on and off until I get my WiFi extended out to the dock. Waiting on our outdoor extender to arrive.

No, didn’t see any fish, but the dock is sitting in near 20’ deep water on its far side. The shallower side near the pier no fish were seen.

need to start feeding them now, so they start comin around

If my wife or kids had a fish bite their toes they would die. lol.

Last time we were here we put catfish food down when we left, mainly because we had it leftover from fishing. There are some big cats down there. I watched a guy on a bass boat pull about a 2lb largemouth from my back yard a few months ago.

Nothing crazy to report. I got the CAT6 cable from the house down to the dock. Now going to get the WiFi on the dock today to power the Eufy lighting under the dock and another camera to watch over our goodies while we are away.

I had intended on installing an NVR on the dock and running CAT6 cabling to supply 5 cameras on the dock, but I’m running out of time and needed a quick solution, so WiFi camera it is for now.
