This is the tool I bought, it's magnetic and reversible for removal/install getting the old belt off was super easy, getting it back on was a little trickier because there is a metal tab that sticks out around the harmonic balllancer so you have to place it just right while turning it with a ratchet. I saw a youtube video of a guy doing it with a flat head screw driver though, made it look pretty easy

Makes me glad I have an '08 with the tensioner on the A/C belt.

Maybe you could buy a tensioner and bracket for an '07-'08 and bolt it onto your truck .
Thats what some guys were talking about here but I never saw anymore about it. My noise came on suddenly when it went from 45 deg to 70 deg here and everything in my shop started to sweat. Like dripping wet with condensation. I bet all the shiny metal rusted. After that it was the most God awful noise from this truck. I knew both my idler and tensioner pulley bearings were sketchy so I did that first. My noise remained so I grabbed the carb cleaner and sprayed the ac belt and it was instantly quiet. Went for a ride and it got better but thinking the belt could stand to be replaced. It a new belt doesn’t help I will consider adding the tensioner somehow.

When the belt on my ex-work van (2013 Express) popped from a rock getting caught in the pulley, I had this same thought. Work paid to have it fixed, though.

Went from this:

Also loaded my BBP tune! Man, what a difference. Better throttle response and the trans actually knows which gear to be in.
Black wheel nuts are still in the mail, so for now they are silver. Next up is an all black grille/ emblem and tint.
