Does anyone know if the traction control light/stabilitrac lights will stay on if they are deactivated through tuning? As of lately, I am really sick and tired of the nannies on my 6.2, they're always on no matter what you do (minus pulling fuses).
I am thinking of getting them turned off, but I won't do it if it means looking at the warning lights.
The other reason I am looking into this is because I'm tossing around the idea of mating up a NV149 t-case to my 6L80, put an AWD front axle in, re-flashing the BCM to a 2WD, and having the best AWD system GM ever made. It's the T-Case they SHOULD have used in the 03 - 14 Yukon Denali/Escalade. With my 6.2, I don't need 4LO ( I used it as overkill on off-road camping adventures, and it's ridiculous to drive like that). Having my 06 AWD SD, the NV149 handled 18" of snow as well as, if not better, than 4HI in the Tahoe. With AWD and my huge sway bars and 420+ horsepower, it seems like a great idea. I'm not really interested in rear wheel burnouts, I'm too old for that stuff..
