It was wet here today. I drove the 07 a bit hard. Its pretty interesting how even with traction control and stabilitrack, if you leave your foot in it when its wet you can still get it to spin into second gear. I will check the catch can and post pics of my findings tomorrow!

I don't think I've had mine past 90mph. The L9H is plenty ready to go much faster, but I am at the mercy of my tire speed ratings.
she probably has a smidge more in her but ran out of runway

Pretty cool data. That's 5,000 rpms for your driveshafts! LOL
goodyear eagle ls/2 sport is a great all-season tire V rating, but probably not a desirable snow tire for the mile high.
I forget if mine is steel or aluminum, i'm thinking steel though, some day I will upgrade them

I would love to find a runway where I could run 2nd gear all the way out on. It would be up there about 120 I think. It pulls pretty strong for a 5.3 but I’m too chicken about getting a ticket. Anyway, I’m trying to find a local track or something with a skid pad to do cookies on. Would make for great fun

I'm thinking of Michelin LTX next time, I think those are good for 115mph, lol

"All" you need is for it to be wet or have enough power or crappy tire grip and if you hold it in 1st or 2nd gear and if your Gov-Bomb hasn't yet detonated and if you disable traction control and Stabilitrak, then it'll do it on pavement. Once you get that fat ass to the side you just stand on the throttle.
