The download from tdsweb says it completed but No love, at least not what I was expecting, trying a key relearn again, 1st try didn't work.if the security light goes out in 5 more minutes at least I'll be getting somewhere

Whenever I disconnect the battery then reconnect it, then it won't start, I have to disconnect the battery again, flip switch, press the brake etc, reconnect the battery then it will start, the problem appears to be the security module.

Now the stupid security light is on and won't go out after 10 minutes with the key in like it should be doing
Trying a key relearn with the tech2 and tdsweb, ugh what a pain in the dick shouldn't have messed with it.

Ummmm, because they want to bend you over on the rear glass for $700. You can nay-say it or just take the word of the guy getting your cash if you'd like... but there are multiple reports on this forum of long lasting successful repairs. @Rocket Man , @Sam Harris (both of which even conversed on some handling tips recently)...Jussayin.
Man not having any luck here, going to try and reprogram the stupid security module again, going to be a long night

so..... it appears the security module I purchased must be no good, after screwing around with it for hours put my old one back in and bam started right up

I only say that because one of the shops I went to- told me that he doesn’t even do glass anymore- but that 10+ years ago when he did do glass in his shop was when he had mixed results. I’ll try the goop that was mentioned but in the past it’s always seemed like I try the $10 fix to avoid the $100 fix- and end up spending $110.
there's probably some way around it i'm sure, couldn't be that hard to run a wire to the starter and another to the fuel pump if worse came to worse
