Yeah, I never really heard of it being a problem (owned my 2001 since 2007) until I saw Snowdrifter post about it.

I was ordering oil and filters from RockAuto and went ahead and ordered a DeSlugger also and installed it a couple months ago

2001 Yukon SLT
2012 Yukon Denali XL
2011 Yukon Denali RIP 5/20/18

@SnowDrifter is a dirty pirate ****** and needs to get back into audio.

Drove to one of the autobody places here and got a quote on tint for the drivers/passenger windows, an eyebrow across the top, and blackout on the sunroof. $345 for ceramic tint that’ll block all the UVA and UVB which will go on the eyebrow on windshield and drivers/passenger windows, and the darkest stuff they have on the sunroof. Issue I’m having with sunroof is I can’t have the shade open without being blinded if its anytime after 9:30 or so because of how tall I am.

Also got a quote on replacing the rear glass because the guy that detailed the vehicle right after I got it broke off one of the rear defrost wires, and those can’t really be fixed with good results. Soooo a $95 detail that I didn’t even want is going to cost me $700.

Indeed. https://www.frostfighter.com/

The stuff works miracles on the defroster tabs.
