i really did think i just had exhaust leak THIS TIME and didnt worry about it to much![]()
Damn that sucks man!...so whats plan for the next motor? I vote junkyard 5.3 with a bigger cam and more boost...
Iron block 6.0 with a 3.90 crankshaft.
Hey Randy, what's the postmortem? Did the valvetrain let loose and kiss the pistons start the chain of events? If so, was it a rocker, valve spring, pushrod?

but its a little irresponsible. hoping something falls in my lap in the next week or two, really no matter what it is to make it move under its own power would be nice. if i have to get a short block built itll be overkill only cause i dont feel like swapping junkyard engines out every 6 monthsIt was leaking alright! You had some PCV, oil, con rod, wrist pin, main cap, oil pan, etc. leakage goin on there.

Wrist pin you say? This lil guy was chillin with the starter when I found it
