The tire set up on my hoe is the same. I hit 140 pretty quick and the only reason I let off the throttle is that the frontend started to lift and slightly bounce. It has more pedel left. When I get some more weight out on the bumper I will retry to see if I can put that pedel to the floor.top speed is 137 so if you have bigger tires or wheels on it than what it was originally built with then that would explain why the speedo will say 140, mine was built with 18" wheels and I have 20" on it so the speedo is off 2-3 mph also.
80~125 is pretty quick, beyond that it goes up slower and takes another 1/2 mile+ to get up into the upper echelons, I have never felt any lift nor bounce at all in my nnbs nor my nbsThe tire set up on my hoe is the same. So your cops only give tickets if your over 127.Actual 127 on NJ turnpike, and it was still pulling hard. Had my gps on. I only slowed down because I didn't want a ticket and I have a cdl class a. I know she has at least 140 in her.

Back in 2012, I had my 2007 XL Denali up between 110 and 120 MPH on I-80 in Eastern Iowa and my wife was asking if we could go faster. Of course, my 6 year old son was being flown in a helicopter to the University of Iowa Hospital. Can't really say if I had any lift of not.
True!Remember....... At high speed....... Mostly, it's the road condition that can hurt you.
( Little bumps & whoop-de-dos turn into launch ramps )
You MUST know the road before speeding that much !!
How are you going to add more weight to the front bumper. Great idea tho. When your truck goes into a high speed drift you will be glad you have that extra weight on the front.
You guys have it made that sounds like a blast.I'm adding my push bumper with extensions for pitting. That should add at least 75 to 130 pounds maybe a little more. Coming down out of the mountains here in AZ very easy to hit the 130 mark fast. 140 probably took like he said another 1/2 mile. But at 130 1/2 mile is not long. That's when it started to lift a little I was coming into a big long sweeping corner so I pushed to 140 and had to get out of it. Still had a lot of peddle left and it runs great for a hoe that has 197000 miles on it.
