Family road trip coming up so doing some cursory checks around the Suburban.

Noticed this difference in the 2 front tires. Seems like a bit more wear on the outside tread of the passenger front than the driver front.

Passenger front tire viewed from the rear.

Rear tires look usual. I notice all the Bridgestones seem to wear down on that outside tread, but having one a bit more than the other seems odd. Tires at 32k.

Figured it might be a good run to the shop for a rotate, balance and alignment check before the trip?

Thoughts?

It was -6 here yesterday morning, with windchill it was even colder. Not quite as cold today, only 5 this morning and currently 19.

It's supposed to get up to 65 Saturday! Crazy!!

It's a newer model one. Once you put it in it automatically pops up. I have never had it flashed to the truck. Not sure I'd it will go away when I do.

Get a set of bolts. They like to break when you try to loosen or tighten them. Rock auto sells them for shorts.

Added a flash module to the center brake light. It fires 4 fast strobes then goes solid and doesn't reset if you let off the brake and repress within a couple seconds so you're not always strobing in traffic. It has 3 speed settings so you can run slower flashes with incandescent lamps. Not bad for $20 on Amazon.

Is that set to fastest in the video? Almost looks like a loose wire or bulb or something. Do they have them to make all 3 (left, right, center) brake lights strobe?

Nope...
LOL

Seriously though... you can add those modules to any of the brake lights you want to.

The bulbs I used in my tails have the flash sequence built into them.

Other difference I see also is that it says "Rear" for activating the rear HVAC controls as opposed to the earlier ones that said "Aux".

Finally put in my Airaid Jr. yesterday afternoon. Didn't buy it for the sound, but it is noticeably louder than stock. There's also a resonance at about 2100-2200 RPM, and another at around 3300 RPM. Hopefully will get BBP to tune my truck in Atlanta, but there's no official announcement yet.
