Can ya even get in there without pulling the trans? Didn't think there would be any space with the torque converter in the way

When you drop the oil pan the flex plate is right there behind the back of the pan.

Yeah but won't the torque converter be in the way to get to the crank to flexplate bolts?

Nope. You can also get to them by removing the starter but not much room and you need to use a allen wrench to tighten the bolts.

Gosh darn it. Ive got a couple baseball sized wet spots under the truck. obviously a leak of some kind. I'll have to get up under there tonight and check it out. Hopefully it's the oil level sensor or block off plate gaskets.

I replaced that Oil Cooler Block Off Plate only because I had the pan off. That's probably not going to be your leak. Unlike some guys on here that solved their oil leak problem by replacing the oil pan gasket I was not so lucky.
