this is my breaker bar, if this wont get it then we have problemsWant to guess what I did today?...
one 36mm nut Two 18mm bolts, Three 15mm bolts, one wire clothes hanger, a T30 driver, a Hammer, a bigger hammer, a sledge hammer, chisel... some other extra tools here and there and about 4hrs of interrupted work... not a single beer.. finished in the dark.
Dang that hub nut was stubborn today, I really need to invest in an air setup, or at least a longer breaker bar.
I couldn't even turn the hub by hand once it was off the truck, it was barely making noise starting yesterday.
Well it goes to show replace things in pairs, both hub bearing assemblies wore out nearly the same time, just glad it didn't happen during our little road trip.
My wife is getting concerned that we may have bought something that requires too much "love"

BTW my son asked how much money I could make being a mechanic.... haha.. at my speed not enough.

lol, I was trying to break some impossible lug nuts years ago and I didn't have anything to use and started trying to think how i could improvise and I saw this was hollow on the end, I have been cracking bolts like butter ever since. you'd be surprised where you can get this thing especially since the hole is so big as long as it can get some bite it works.I never thought to use a fence post / ground rod driver as a breaker bar. Great idea!
Trust me I scoured every inch of our property, even looked at the neighbors house..(they just finished a remodel)

Ordered this.
Glad you got it!It's not so much what I did to my GMT900, but what I did NOT do, and that's never having to use the Tahoe's hitch as a mount for my vise, thanks to @shreksbrother.
Thanks again for that receiver! I hope I get an opportunity to pay it forward or back soon.
Glad you got it!

I said ordered...my son paid for it. He just turned 18 and works. Momma wont let him pay for "living" yet, so I am letting him buy my upgrades to a vehicle he drives. At least this is tangible...I've had my eye on one for a while, but want to spend the $700 on other stuff at the moment. It's on my list for sure though.

My motto around here is “No, you really DONT want me to treat you like a grown ass man, your minimum wage job can’t afford it!”Hmmm. I've been keeping an eye out for something to DD/lend out to my daughter, but I like this idea....I can hear it now ...
"captain, can I borrow your tahoe?"
"yes, when my headers arrive, you MAY. " LOL
