Somehow you knew if you kept it up I'd eventually google it. Though I'm not sure that googling it actually helped me learn, I can at least get the gist of it. And I'm totally using schlampe at work tomorrow.

Actually pretty good it’s about a year old. I sealed it with Chemical Guys Jet Seal and kept up on it with Turtle Wax black spray wax. It helps it stay shiny and keeps the rust away.

Replaced the driver side front axle yesterday. It wasn't dead (yet), but when I did the front suspension rebuild a month or two ago I noticed the outer boot was trashed and it had been slinging grease everywhere.
Also replaced the brake pedal switch since my cruise control had died again. Cruise control was dead when I bought it, put a brake switch from NAPA in about 8-9 months ago which recently died. Put an AC Delco in this time, hoping for more life out of it this time. At least it's only an $11 part.
Intended to change the upstream O2's as well, but even after tackling the first two jobs the cats/exhaust was still too hot to mess with the O2 sensors. Apartment life sucks for a gearhead. They're super strict about any vehicle maintenance on-site so I have to head over to a buddies house for anything I want to do. Didn't feel like just sitting around waiting on the exhaust to cool more and I was running out of daylight anyway.

I installed the Crux BTS-GM1X bluetooth streaming device in my 2011 Tahoe LTZ (with XM radio). I have had the same experience that @PatDTN chronicled in his post: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/index.php?threads/107203/. Thank you for the thorough review, Pat!
I use a Samsung Galaxy S9, and it allows the dual bluetooth connections, one for voice, one for audio. I have found that I need to manually connect when I use the remote start, but that is a fair trade-off for me.
I'm impressed with device's ability to quickly connect, and how it allows consistent volume between the bluetooth and FM, so I don't have to crank the volume down when I flip over to FM radio, like I did when I plugged in the phone to stream music. There are cheaper options, but they aren't hidden like this device, and this thing needs no additional manipulation or charging. And this is way cheaper than installing an aftermarket radio.

I have to tap the brake pedal then hit cruise for it to engage. I have it to the point I no longer think about it when doing it. If I drive another vehicle I'm quite certain I'm going to do the same thing.
I use cruise control every single day. I know I should just buy the part and replace it now, but $11 is a small bottle of decent bourbon. Priorities.

Yeah, my experience has been when the brake switches first start failing you can pull up on the brake pedal with your toe to get it to make contact and get the cruise to work, but eventually even that won't work.

Want to guess what I did today?...
one 36mm nut Two 18mm bolts, Three 15mm bolts, one wire clothes hanger, a T30 driver, a Hammer, a bigger hammer, a sledge hammer, chisel... some other extra tools here and there and about 4hrs of interrupted work... not a single beer.. finished in the dark.
Dang that hub nut was stubborn today, I really need to invest in an air setup, or at least a longer breaker bar.
I couldn't even turn the hub by hand once it was off the truck, it was barely making noise starting yesterday.
Well it goes to show replace things in pairs, both hub bearing assemblies wore out nearly the same time, just glad it didn't happen during our little road trip.
My wife is getting concerned that we may have bought something that requires too much "love"
BTW my son asked how much money I could make being a mechanic.... haha.. at my speed not enough.

Did you do anything extra for the ghosting? I ask because I recently debadged mine. I'm not a paint and body expert or even a detailer, so I tried polishing compound and a cheap RO buffer. It worked, but took what I thought was an excessive amount of time. Rubbing compound probably would've worked faster, but I didn't wanna be TOO aggressive.
