I cleaned the MAF sensor and checked the air filter in preparation for my BB tune tomorrow.

Filled up the gas tank for the first time in about 2 weeks.
The last 2 fill-ups have been with 93 octane because the price was around $2.59 and $2.49 but E85 was still $2.14.
E85 is currently $1.84 near me and she took 25.2 gals (31 gal tank). My previous ethanol % was 8.6 on the 93 octane (E10) and is now currently 58.8 on this E85.

E85 is currently $1.84 near me and she took 25.2 gals (31 gal tank). My previous ethanol % was 8.6 on the 93 octane (E10) and is now currently 58.8 on this E85.

***CAUTION*** I do my own stunts!
Not what I did but rather what my Brother and 12 year old son did to the Burb today.
1.Replaced drivers side engine mount with the H3 mount.
2.Oil/filters changed, catch can drained.
3.Reinstalled my HIDs in the low beams because one of my LED bulbs crapped out.
4.Drained and refilled the rear end with M1 75w90 synthetic.
5.Fixed a leak in one of my air bladders in the rear springs.
6.Replaced 2 bolts and nuts that evidently came out of the lower control arm relocation bracket of the drop kit. Not sure how they came out. Locktite was used when they were installed. Regardless they have been replaced and locktite was used again.
7. All fittings were greased to include upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, DJM sway bar end links, Spohn panhard bar end links.
8.Brake fluid completely flushed and refilled with synthetic DOT4 fluid.
I think that was it. I did a lot of supervising... lol
I would say this one was shot. It was only about 2 years old.
And the results of my catch cans capture.
I also had them grab me a sample of the used oil to send to Blackstone for analysis.

thats cheap e85 here is as good as gold
near dino fuel price only like 15 or 20 cents cheaper

drove it for about a week, needed to carry a bunch of stuff around with me for work. couple of things started to bug me
centering of the rear axle-i had it kicked to one side so the sway bar wouldnt rub anywhere but it was way over to the passenger side. i turned the hardware around on the shock extender, massaged the panhard bar frame mount, and tweaked on the upper swaybar link mounts. also helped with some rubbing/clunking and rubbing the fender liners. finally put on the bump stops after doing the free travel mod. exhaust pipe after driving it a while i think it "grows" a little, but the 4" pipe going over the axle hits in one little spot - pulled that section and dented the pipe a little in that area to make some more room. and pulled the roof rack off.

A OBDLink MX bluetooth dongle with the Torque Pro app.
The OBDLink has it's own app which I really haven't used yet, Torque seems to have more features.
I just now looked at the OBDLink app and it does have a "Alcohol Fuel Percentage" gauge, but this app doesn't let you view or edit the PID info like Torque, only change how many decimal places the gauge shows.
I'll check and see what that app shows for alcohol content later. The wife has the Denali XL today. I'm changing the oil and rotating the tires on the 01 that she usually drives. It has reached 195k miles and the engine and drivetrain is mechanically sound. Just the body and interior is showing it's age. Has some rust on drivers side rear lower wheelwell and door area and behind the wheelwell on the lower part where crap is kicked up from the tire. The interior is the light tan and the leather is showing it's age too, cracks, etc.
I keep telling her we need to get rid of it or trade it in on a bit newer model

Yeah, it surprised me because for the past 2 weeks or so the E85 price has been $2.14 and the dino fuel has come way down. That's why I've been running 93 the last two fill-ups. Thought I was going to get 93 again till I saw the E85 price when I pulled in.

Got my BB tune today. 93 octane only engine tune. AFM delete. Shifting improved. Speed limiter delete. Downstream O2 delete. Full review forthcoming after I drive it a while. But my initial impression is really good. The shifting is much better, both in timing and quickness. Plus, I got this really cool sticker.

At least an '09 to match the other one!
E85 has a large markup, wholesale is around $1.06-1.37 in Iowa right now. Around here it came down for a few weeks and then crept back up. An hour north it is still under $2 but here it's $2.05 in the north county and over $2.22 at the four stations nearest me. Some guys are $2.85 and $3.45 too! 93 is just $2.59 at Sam's Club for Top Tier.
That's great John! Give it a week as she relearns your driving habits and will get even better. That sticker has a habit of enticing people to race you so be careful! LOL

Installed some Westin floor mats. I have rubber flooring (PPV), but an officer's heel wore a hole in it. I attempted a repair, but it wasn't too successful. So I'll see how these do... The fit is excellent, and I like how they go up on the door sills.
