USE A IMPACT WRENCHTried to install my 2/4 drop kit today but couldn't get the lower ball joint off the spindle. Broke 3 sockets and 2 socket wrenches today as well. Not a good day.

Have you done the free travel mod? If not, you'd better get with it lol.Got the EBC brakes on today... also took out the upper spring isolators which dropped it about 1/4”. I noticed my new bumpstops were hitting, so I cut them down a bit... rides better than stock now![]()

According to EBC, this is the correct way. I think some brands recommend the other way. I normally see them installed like thisYo, you sure you put the rotors on the correct side? Usually the top of the slot is the leading edge

Well been awhile. Since I’ll be deploying again, it was time for the annual paint correction/detailing job on the wife’s 2012 Tahoe
I think it only makes a difference if you have direction vanes.I read somewhere that it was shown to make no discernible difference. I don't recall if it was on a particular brake manufacturer's site or a third party. But, I don't think it matters beyond aesthetics. I like mine not spinning "backwards".
Me too, did you go with Wilwoods too? They make it easy with direction of rotation on them, like tires do.can confirm, have racetruck
