Just confirming this upgrade is for my application?? For 2001 Yukon Denali XL (front brake set-up) and parts would be from 2007+ Tahoe (calipers with mounting braket and hardware with 13" rotors)?

I would get high quality Dot 4... Get synthetic Dot 4 that has the highest boiling point... Price is not too relevant. I would not cheap out on brakes.
meh DOT4 has a higher boiling point sure, but it also absorbs water more quickly. I am running dot3 synthetic. Not gonna get it anywhere near the boiling point on that in this truck... we're not doing hot laps on daytona here.

Did this swap on my truck. Best thing I've done for stopping. I used the ac delco slotted rotors and power stop ceramic pads in the front. Ordered everything for a 2005 with rear drum brakes. That gives you the 13" rotor and get the calipers for the same truck. The rear I have Silverado SS dual piston calipers and ac delco slotted rotors with OEM ceramic pads. Best it's ever stopped.

Huh, this whole time I had no idea that the SS had dual piston rears. Looks like according to Rockauto they are just front calipers in the rear!

They aren't front calipers. When I buy pads I buy them for a 2003 suburban. They are just the SUV dual piston rear calipers

did you get your abs issues fixed? I'd start there as a big part of that was that your abs did not function correctly.

Not yet. I need to get it checked out though, for sure.
My goal is to pick up some Calipers from a junkyard for the front rotors, and just refurbish them myself, and paint them. Them get some of the 13in powerstop rotors for the nnbs trucks, and some SS lines. Not in a hurry on this though, gonna start browsing the junkyards now that the weather is good enough.

I figured a junkyard would be the best bet. Or people parting out their trucks on craigslist. Are the NNBS pickup front brakes the same as on the SUVs?

Yeah the 05+ trucks with rear drum brakes have the same 13" front rotor and larger caliper as the 07+ suvs
The NBS rears are actually better than the NNBS rears. They're dual piston 13". NBS had 12" fronts and 13" rears dual piston. For the NNBS they switched and went with 13" fronts and 12" rears dual piston. So if you switch to the NNBS fronts on your NBS you now have better brakes than the NNBS, 13" front and rear dual piston.

You must run 17" or larger wheels for these front calipers. My 16" steel spare does not fit anymore. Just a FYI
Power stop s4918 calipers for the front
Ac delco 18A1705SD or raybestos 580279per for the 13" front rotors.
Pads for the front I got the power stop z361092
Rear I have OEM ceramic pads on
