Another 6.2 done afe/magnaflow

Had a local customer stop buy just wanted to wake the truck up a little and keep the warranty. Ended up doing the magnaflow 3.5 cat back on his rig along with the afe intake. He just picked it up and went on a ride and hes very happy with the sound and increase in performance. This was on a big boy escalade

If I just replaced the muffler, would my pipes turn that purple color by cutting out the old muffler? Whats up with that? I know the muffler gets hot but that must have been extreme to turn purple?

Thats normal on them.
