Thank you for the detailed write up on this @Vladimir2306 . This is more information and pictures than we've seen, ever.
As I understand it, GM is in no hurry to show what is happening inside the engine))) we publish such things in our chats regularly))) the service said that with such damage inside the engine, usually the piston punches a hole outside the block.
So we see such photos regularly, and discuss the reasons and guesses.

Today we are discussing the situation with my engine with our several services all day. The reason is unclear. The reason is definitely not the liners, otherwise they would have given wear and metal particles earlier. Connecting rod liners are not the reason, they just take the blow on themselves, failing. The oil is definitely not to blame, 0-20 retains the oil film, 0-40 in this situation would not help. And yes, we had cases of the same failure of engines with 5-30 and 0-40 oils.
The quality of my oil is good. I pour Wolf 0-20 oil, according to the parameters and tests of the oil, it is better than Acdelco. DFM, not to blame, I was driving 150kmh in Trailer mode, DFM, in these conditions off. There was no dilution of fuel, because I was driving on the highway, and the oil was hot, the fuel in this situation evaporates instantly.
It seems that suddenly, some block gave an error and the oil pump turned off, which, with the engine running at inertia, allowed the connecting rods to work dry, without oil.
What else surprised me. I drove at a temperature of +7C, at this temperature I usually have the radiator curtains always open. When everything happened, I saw that the curtains were closed. Why, it is not clear. Maybe they closed when the engine was turned off, or maybe not.
As one of the versions that the curtains could close due to an error, for example, thereby sharply causing the engine to overheat, which, having received overheating, turned off, turning off the oil pump, and the engine continued to spin without oil inside by inertia. Causing such fatal injuries.
But this is only a hypothesis, since the logs were erased because we were disconnecting the battery.

As a result, after discussing different options with the service, we came to the conclusion that it is best to install a new engine. But the engine will be disassembled, and the temperature gaps will be checked, plus the liners will be replaced with red ones from the 4th generation. Just in case
Work on the new engine has already begun today.

My 2 cents worth, I saw milky oil in your first post, so I am thinking a blown head gasket, water getting into the oil. If that happened the oil viscosity discussion is moot. Very interested to hear from you if water in the oil was an issue or not an issue.

No, there is no water there, this is mother-of-pearl from metal dust, the result of metal wear inside the engine

Well, are you ready for new horrors?))) The oil is to blame?) or fuel pollution?)) My new engine was disassembled, and there was this. Its mileage is 0 miles
