Thanks! kinks.... ehh yes and no. still havnt driven it fully on the road/driven it very hard. need to set up a few more things and play with the fuel pressure.

The only place i know that still makes blowers for the TBIs is Wynjammer or procharger/vortech other than that, no one.. sometimes you can catch a decent tbi whipple on ebay.. but the LS motor swaps are really a better budget/reliable machine then the tbi...
Goodluck. haha

You can put just about anything on top of a 93 engine, you just have to ditch the TBI. :p

well i had a vortec in my 97 c2500 hd and i liked it a lot, but im really not sure of the difference between that motor and my L05. i was just getting into wrenching when i had it. but i kinda like my tbi lol. although im trying to get my buddy's 305 mpi outta his iroc z28 lol. and no problem man thats what buds are for, to motivate your ass hahah

also ive never once had this tbi running correctly so im not sure if i can compare it to the vortec yet, not till i hit the mud lol

the vortecs will always beat a TBI unless the tbi has a few mods. I own a vortec and tbi and the vortec is all around way smoother running and such. Not hating on the TBI....

dont grab the 305, not worth it to downgrade to that. With all the work getting a 305 mpi to run good, your better off with the 6.0 or some type of LS motor.. they seem to get decent gas mileage in these trucks as well

MPI was a bigger joke then TBI.

Now running dual TBIs on a crossfire from teh 82ish Camaro/Vette ... that would be cool. :p

A properly setup and tuned TBI motor will surprise alot of people.

TBI is one of the simpler furl injection systems to get up and running. I'm sure once you learn it you'll enjoy it.
