Are the specs for the tbi and vortec the same? what are you going to end up pushing after the whipple and everything else, and would you bother to make a video?

heads, intake and fuel system obviously are different.

Hah yeah thats what I meant IS IT tbi. Sweet project though. This would be awesome but I'll just live vicariously through you since I DD mine. And hell yeah there better be videos! I wish my truck could sound like it has a damn jet engine.

Atomic, about how much in quantity for each paint stage is needed for a base-color-clear for a four door?

well primer depends on the application
Base coat used about 7to8 quarts i think i bought 7 then added one later for a few more things
Clear- was i think 2 gallons? man its been a while. i sure as hell dont want to paint my truck again, the cost was nuts..

Dis you use reducer on any of them at all.

oh yea, youll need reducer for the base and youl need hardener/activator for the clear..

I am try to guesstimate the future cost for House of Kolor paint materials in the future so I can buy the stuff and take it to a shop later.

Atomic one more, was that quantity of the raw material before the reducer, activator, hardener stuff was added?

more progress. about 85percent done with the build
Need to install the tensioner, a new egr solenoid since a nipple broke off, new fuel lines routed up, chip in, gauges hooked up and im ready to rock..

Waited for 2 weeks for this damn radiator hose to come in from Summit, they sent me the wrong one and it was back ordered and all kinds of *****




I have new sticker for the side of the blower as well..

Is that alternator in the stock location?? Stock water neck?? Is that a special Whipple only hose or is it for some other purpose?? I ask cause when I did all my mods the hose hits the hood a tad, not alot but if it was routed the way you have yours my problem would be solved.
