Does anyone carry tools in their Yukon/Tahoe? If so, what tools and where do you store them? In my 2003 suburban I carry a floor jack because their is room under the rear seats. But the new Denali does not have that space.. I do put a few items in the console like disinfecting wipes, a rag, a flashlight and a Leatherman multi tool. I also have a small dash cleaning brush. How about you folks?

My firearm is a tool and that goes with me everywhere. I also carry a tactical knife in a hidden area. I have ratchet straps and bungee cords and my tow stinger and coveralls and flashlight and shop towels. I have the known working jack and tire equipment that came with the Tahoe. It really depends on where I am going and how far.

Because I travel long distances fairly often, I keep a canvas toolbag with a full assortment of sockets, common impact sockets (especially a 21mm for the lugs), extensions, swivels, pliers, vice grips, combination wrenches, wire cutters, a tire repair kit and miscellaneous other items. I also use a trunk organizer from Costco that holds a Schumacher booster/compressor/power supply, a first aid kit, a Bauer 1/2" drive battery-powered impact wrench, rags, Kleenex, sun shade, sunscreen, bug dope, and a few other things. Oh, and some electronic LED roadside flare pucks.

I recently had a flat tire on the highway with a carful of family members late one night, so the impact wrench came in real handy.

I have 2 milk crates full with this stuff:

WD40
jug washer fluid
1 spray bottle wash fluid
1 squeegee
jug antifreeze
jug oil
funnel
rags
mutli-tool box kit
aftermarket 1/2" lug wrench with multi socket
small hydraulic floor jack
few towels
1 blanket
1/2" extensions and 12 point 9/16 socket for the rear spare winch because the factory winch bar setup sucks

Probably a few other things I am forgetting.

I keep a hand duster in one of the seat back pockets for cleaning the dash at the driver thru.

In my driver door pocket I keep a rag and an absorber. Just used that absorber yesterday cause it was a monsoon. Wipe down the door and window switches if they get wet.

5 kids. If anything happens, I’ll make them do it. Oh, and a phone and charger so I can text pics of them doing all the work.
(But seriously, a leatherman, a small pocket knife, and lots of napkins and plastic forks)

Portable 2000amp battery jump starter is stowed under a rear seat. OBD scan tool and Leatherman in the center console. Aftermarket collapsable lug wrench in rear jack storage. Cleaning items in driver's side rear storage box with tie down straps.

When traveling away from home a tool box with most used tools is secured all the way in the back.

Once I become competent using a Tech2 and MPVI3 they'll be added with a laptop when traveling.

I forgot I keep a roll of TP in the center console. Multiple uses. And a handful of plastic grocery bags. I always keep one hanging hanging off a phone charger plug in port pass side as a trash bag.
