Well I got a hand to lift it in place so here is the roof basket in place. http://i1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd482/Sunlitcomet/IMAG0566.jpg

It has about 2-3 inches I think between the sides of rack and vehicle side rails. Will get more pics later.

Bet my hood takes the cake;) primer n chips baby!

yeah probably lol

At least yours is white and would be pretty easy to spray paint it and have it look halfway decent.

I'll have to get a pic of mine, it has some weird peeling going on.

I have a 4 inch cowl on my Camaro and hate it, can't see shit ... can't image driving my truck with that much of a blind spot ...

true atomic. but for me i am so tall inside that the bulge would not cause a blind spot. my problem is trying to see traffic lights when stopped. I have to duck and bend my head over to see if the light is green. working on a solution for that eventually.

So I went and bought some red and black VHT night shades. Put two coats of red on, one black and 5 coats of clear. they turned out like this. It said to wait 48 hours to cute completely before you sand or use compound so ill do that tomorrow morning and polish them up.

Got it all waxed. I used the turtle wax black box kit! Came out great for a $50 paint job.
