usually northerners go down south for clean bodies, southerners come up for low mileaged motors lol

Couple days ago I took the factory 4 x 10s out of the roof of my Yukon and was gonna cut out the holes to fit 6.5" .... marked them out and was tryin to use small sawzall type tool to cut them out. Needless to say it was a real SOB! then I removed the trim at the rear of the headliner and got lookin under there andbof course he brackets unbolt from the roof really easily!!!! So I said hell with it and made some new stainless brackets up just for 6.5" speakers... Ill post some pics later if anyone is interested

I'd like to see some pictures. About 4 years ago I replaced the back speakers in my 95 2door. The aftermarket speakers in the odd-ball factory size were pathetic. I couldn't even hear them over the better speakers that were installed in the front doors. I like to listen to alot of the old 70's Rock (we called it "head music")and some of that stuff has some really interesting sound transitions from speaker to speaker but you have to have 4 equally balanced speakers to get the effect. I'd like to go with some better speakers in the back of the 99' I just bought without having to put in boxes that take up cargo room.

Finally finished up my AC system. Flushed it and let it sit, new orifice tube, compressor, lines, accumulator and Freon with oil. Blows cold ... gauge from Walmart is junk, gonna borrow one tomorrow and look at the pressures to see if it's OK.

Did a little interior paint work, added the nbs center console to replace the 09 ford one (too high for my liking) and now find that the right side rear shock pulled from the mount...off to the yard i go...

found the side panel that goes behind the passenger seat at pic-a-part finally. have to color match it from tan to grey but it will be nice to have one without the bottom broken off of it.

If you live in a cold place your oil cooler lines have probably gone bad. Happened to mine this winter up in Fairbanks, not a very good design for col weather.
