Nicely done, I've got a mk3 supra I'm restoring, but the dash is cracked something like that would be nice over the repair so I don't have to texture it as much

Found my donor truck today

2000 Z71 Tahoe the owner has no title so I have full run of the parts I want for my Yukon clone project

- all of the flares are perfect (pulled today)
- Z71 step bar/running boards (pulled today)
- got the foglight switch
- was pulling the front bumper and grill gaurd as 1 assembly.....but broke 2 12 ratchets in the process(gotta love a truck that lived in the salt belt)
- going back to get it, the foglights, wheels and all of the skid plates

@noJeepshere

I went with the OEM console. Mine had the front lid broken, but otherwise was perfect. When I bought the interior parts out of the suburban last week i got the console in the deal. SO I took the best parts from both and made one really clean one.

When i was at it I removed that dumb note pad holder thing on the top of the console lid; still need to come up with a solution for covering the 3 holes up

I didn't like the stock console, so I went with the console from a 92 Blazer.

I just ordered some 2" wheel spacers for the rear of the truck from RC and the steering stabilizer

I hate that the rear wheels are not flush with the front. And of course i have the normal GM steering, so the RC stabilizer should fix that

- Should be a fun weekend of easy work on the Yukon.
- Friday I'm getting the Yukon inspected and the new meaty Goodyear Wrangler AT tires mounted (265/75-16)
- While the Yukon is in the shop I will be up in Delaware grabbing the rest of the parts off from the Z71 donor truck

Its not lowered yet but if everything goes threw like im hoping it does I will be ordering the 2/3 kit this weekend. It is a 1999 Chevy tahoe police package. It is two wheel drive but converted it over to 6 lug the correct way. Rebuilt the engine. Replaced the grille with one off of a GMC and was finally able to find some 2000 Chevy tahoe z71 fender flares. Next steps are lowering it, removing the ugly side steps, and getting the limited/Z71 front bumper.

If I can find a set for a good price I will. I picked up the bumper today at the junkyard for $50. If I cant find a set...I will use those holes with some tubing going to my front brakes to keep them cool as I am towing. I ordered my 2/3 drop kit for it today.20160722_140415.jpg
