Flushed transfer case. I've been doing an hour or two a day on the truck in the evenings for the last couple weeks. I was just wasting that time anyway and thought I'd put it to better use. I could use a couple hours a day at the gym, but if I'm going to be moving metal around it's going to be for something useful.
forget the gym home calisthenics workout is where its at

Alright, stuff is finally going to happen with FrankenBetty. Mainly because Tim is going to be using her as his daily. I'm inheriting the '12 GMC 1500 HD. Which is going to be interesting. But first thing's first, got to upgrade the alternator. It can't keep up with the a/c and radio. So that's happening very soon, Tim can't do without tunes and air LOL Then he wants to upgrade to shorty headers and a newer exhaust system, but keeping my same exit points right behind the tires. So basically, all the stuff I wanted done but I wasn't driving it enough now gets done. I'm kind of jealous. I guess he can thank me for working out the bugs first??? We're switching vehicles because I scored a big, fancy job in downtown Tampa and ol' FrankenBetty isn't up to highway hauling just yet. But I'm going to have to squeeze the truck into a parking garage. That should be fun.

So Tim discovered the problem with the alternator not charging. The wire that goes from there to the battery was a heap of poop and it was melted in a few spots. New wire and it charges, the ac blows harder and it's a nice ride. Still needs a tranny but it's not my daily anymore after today :( I loved driving her and I loved the reaction I got from a lot of the Construction crews downtown LOL. She has something weird going on with the fresh air intake. With the windows down, it still blows air on my right foot. Might need to figure out if the recirculation actuator is dead. The button doesn't light up. Of course that is the one on top of the air box and buried under the dash. Oh well. Tim's problem now, I'm rocking that 2012 Sierra life LMAO

Update time! The C10 lives. A few more tweaks to the tune, some wiring issues to work out and a throttle plate adjustment and it's running. Next step is the two piece driveshaft install and then that thing is moving out of my driveway! I'm so proud of him. The project has taken a bit but he's done all the work and worked out the bugs.
