definitely do something to help with the uv. mine were trashed in 2 years.

the ppf I used didn't cover anything worth while uv wise, so I'm glad I did the uv coating. even thou i didn't get it applied perfectly. I still have hopes it will do something.

if you go ppf only, maybe get some bulk and cover it up well
trash can trick?

no i meant for the ppf....stretch it over the opening of the trash can, heat gun it stretchy then plunge the headlight into it

oh haha. I have honestly never done ppf. Just watched a few videos mostly hoods and things. I definitely think you could do this in one piece it you know the stuff.

I don't know the tricks. is that how the do mirrors and stuff? I don't even know the brand of this stuff, it was an impulse buy over a year ago. it had a cut in it to help with the fold around the corner but it wasn't in the right spot at all.

lol, hey a new battery is a good thing, if you go to like autozone and orielly and napa and look the battery they are all the same they just slap there sticker on it is all. I think walmart has the same battery too. It's only because there is only like 3 battery manufactures across the country so selection is really "limited" I have the interstate AGM which is also made by one of the 3, Interstate doesn't make them they are made by johson controls, they used too make there own some time ago
I cant believe mine has made 4 years already the heat here kills them
Crap walmart sells AGM batteries for $180. That's a damn deal

you can still get a acdelco agm from rock auto for 150. I don't know the shipping charge or who makes them.

mine is 2 years old and still tests well.
Crap. I wish I could've waited but I needed one today. My Walmart didn't have any in stock.

my interstate agms were only $165 from costco, I think there still in the range of about 169 last time I checked
Costco AGM is a bit cheaper than Walmart, but Walmart has a 4 yr warranty vs Costco 3 yr.

When I replaced the one in the Acadia (same size as our Tahoe/Yukon) a few months ago, it all came down to who had them in stock. That size is popular.

Costco has an AGM battery for the GMT900 for $170 in my area, and Calif is usually more expensive than most.

Changed out the destroyed rear shocks for Bilsteins that I got from Summit Racing. 95 degree heat meant I drank about a gallon of water doing this. Rides much better.

Did you swap out your mirror because the old one was bad?
After driving Class A equipment, I do not like convex mirrors at all on any vehicle.
I use my mirrors for backing up, often, so I do like the distorted view a convex mirror gives for that scenario.
Convex are handy for lane changes but I prefer a bubble mirror for that use with a regular, flat view mirror as the main mirror.
Maybe I'm just weird or maybe it's just a truck driving thing because I know lots of people like yourself that love the convex mirrors.
This is why I like the tow mirrors, but they are wide and bulky, not the best looking...also not helping MPG at all.
