I’ve been checking out their inventory for a while now. Never saw them with so many brand new, not take-off, stock. I see they have some brand new snowflakes as well as some split-spokes as well.

Finally got around to tearing in to the Yukon more. Passenger head is cracked (tested at machine shop) and pulled the lifters to find out the lifters and cam lobes are pitted and scorn with bluing which means she has heated up prior to my ownership. I also noted when I parked the Yukon before it broke down it would not get over 20psi of oil pressure.

Upon further tear down, there is a crack in the block on the driverside from what appears someone over tightening the shit out of the heads as they were replaced before me.

The truck is an utter mess and don't have the time or funds to put another long block in it. A friend of mine had recently totaled their Yukon 2500 and was offered a decent price, I may very well sell it to him so he can pull his LY6 and place it into my Yukon and he has a nice rig for his family.

I have a '06 Ram Megacab 2500 4x4 on top of the Yukon and my commuter so it makes since to just throw in the towel and walk away from the Yukon.

there's engines on craigslist and rancho cordova all day long, even more in san fran.

Installed a compustar remote start with the drone option to use my phone for lock unlock and start. Much better range than the factory remote and my key ring is slimmer

So installed the compustar ft-dc3-lc using the gm10 wiring harness. Programmed it for a 2010 suburban online and everything works great. Only thing I can’t figure out is the headlights. Factory remote start would start at night and just be parking lights until key was turned on. The aftermarket if dark out starts and turns the headlights on. Is there any way to jus trace parking lights until the key is inserted. Any help is appreciated

It's probably just the way it is, I have a directed viper system on my 2012 and when I remote start it at night the headlights come on for about 5-10 seconds then they go out and all I have is marker lights, I also do not get puddle lights when unlocking, but I fixed that by wiring my puddle lights to the interior lights which can be activated with the viper remote. these alarm systems do not fully integrate with the gm system.

cross your fingers, if you don't get a tracking number soon it might be a while they pop those out in china, I just looked on the Holley website there still doing the 30 day game which turns into 90+
