We had a new guy change the oil and filter on a company truck and he tightened up that filter so tight the gasket tore off. Two oil changes in one day, and a lot of cleanup. He had oil all over the place.

Instructions on the oil filter or box say 3/4-1 turn past gasket contact.
I've been doing my filters hand tight (using 1 hand, usually only gets about 1 turn past gasket contact) on all my vehicles for 30 some-odd years with no problems or leaks.

Put some bling on my thing. I'm not a chrome fan, but I like to break up the black plastic motif where cheap and possible. The SSV was bought with the intent to slowly make it more upscale when the price is right. Also got some chrome dour handles. I'll install one and see. Not sure on them yet. All of it for $67 so the bank wasn't broken even if I don't use anything but the mirror caps (they're replacements, not the stick on kind).
Funny thing: The mirror caps were $51. All four handles were $64. The package together was $67.

I thought the same then just decided on the chrome. Sometimes my laziness overrides my aesthetic choices.I'm thinking of just painting my caps.

If used properly, laziness is a great tool for de-stressing. I'd teach classes, but I'm too lazy.Love laziness.....it makes me lazy
Exhausted. Had to have my wife make my second drink.@BourbonNcigars - You're working, really, teaching by example. Tired yet?
More important question, does she roll your cigars?Exhausted. Had to have my wife make my second drink.
That'd probably be pushing it. I already suspect poison in my drinks.More important question, does she roll your cigars?

The LED's do make a welcome difference. The pics look good but the upgrade is even more noticeable in person (at least in mine). Cheap, easy, and highly effective. Wish all mods met those criteria.Broke a map lens....
Also swapped out all of the lighting for led. Much better.

LED's, for me anyway, have always been hit or miss. I've never bought really expensive ones, though, so maybe that's why. Some have lasted years while others last a few weeks. I only did all my interiors and paid $20 and got some extras in the pack. Probably the same one many people have gotten from Amazon (LEDpartsNow). No issues after about 6 weeks.100%
Huge improvement over stock and less than a hundred bucks to swap everything out.
I just hope these are reliable. Swapping them out every couple months sure does suck.

Same for me. I swapped all my interior lights to LED years ago now and just got them off eBay and so far haven't had any issues ***knock on wood***LED's, for me anyway, have always been hit or miss. I like the Zevo bulbs for exterior. They are a lot more, but so far, very bright, and no failing LEDs. [emoji1696] eta: I originally bought a 10-pack from Amazon, and a couple failed within a couple weeks, so used more zevo bulbs.I wanted to try the sylvania zevo bulbs but they sure are pricey. Went with super bright led this go round. Used them 5+ years ago and they all sucked. These supposedly have a 2 year warranty. We will see.
