Forgot about the pics, so here they are....
Man that can gets hot even in that location, but it being mid 90s outside doesn't help either...lol
I used the existing hole in that location to run a bolt with a fender washer and nut on the backside. The larger hole near it was used to stick my hand/fingers in to get the nut and washer on and hold it while tightening.

Took me 6 months to find time, but I just did it myself. By FAR the best upgrade. Especially combined with the Morimoto LED fog units. Mini D4s, switchbacks, led corners, etc.

I get it, but I don't have the patience or time. I get very little time off. Maybe a day a week, if I'm lucky, I get get 2 days off in a row in a month. I barely have time to do house chores or take care of my lawn. I get lucky 1 time a month and have 3 days off in a row, which is when I get to do the things I need to or want to.Took me 6 months to find time, but I just did it myself. By FAR the best upgrade. My schedule is the same way. That's why it took me 6 months to get to it, lol. Once I did, about 8 hrs and it was finished.

You can google hid retrofit headlights and find some that do them. Might even be someone local to you that does. There’s a place not too far from me that does them. I did mine myself.

Came out to truck in parking lot after taking train out of NYC and it wouldn't turn over, just got a single "click". Replaced starter in parking lot in 90+ degree weather. Fun times. Judging by the pic I think it was time. When I went to remove cables from solenoid the screws broke right off.
I'd much rather do it in 90deg than -10 with a wind chill and frozen ice
Yeah I’m thinking I might do mine in my 02 now. I’m nearing 160k miles and even though it seems fine, it might be a good item to do as preventive maintenance. Not something to do in the winter.

I purchased the lights from ebay, the aluminum frame holder I just purchased at the hardware store because there is no brackets for what I wanted to do so I just made my own
