Question about floor mats: is the 07 Escalade floor/ Chair layout the same as the 07 Tahoe/Yukon? Found some custom floor mats for the Escalade, but they have not tested them in the Tahoe / Yukon. Need to know for all 3 rows and back.
The instructions that came with my Husky Weatherbeater 2nd row mat said that a bit will need to be trimmed where it meets the back of the front center console if used in an Esky. Apparently the center consoles are bigger at the base.

If the floor mats don't go all the way across then they should fit fine.

I would think then that the Esky mats should go into the tahoe without trouble.

Without looking I wann say rpo GT4
3.73 I believe

I thought maybe you replaced it with a better LSD of some brand/type when you rebuilt it. I'm not a fan of mine at all. I blew up the Gov-Bomb in my S10 at 3x,*** miles (supercharger and fat tires MAY have had something to do with it) and replaced it with a Zexel Torsen out of a Camaro SS. I was hoping there was something similar for these rigs.

Also messing around with rear axle :(

Had gears changed to 4.10s about 2 weeks ago, after taking it easy afor a few miles I noticed above 75mph or so under light acceleration I have a pretty bad vibration and right rear kind of noisey was before a little bit but worse now.

figured I would get the driveshaft balanced and some new ujoints. everywhere I called wanted me to just bring them the driveshaft kinda pita.

I grabbed a new axle shaft for the right side to replace shop didn't say anything about it looking chewed up.

Went to pull the driveshaft and the strap bolts were hardly tight, awesome. That just makes me weary of everything.

Right side axle had a slight bit of play in the new bearing that was replaced so I went ahead and pulled it. Had a couple score marks on it wish shop would have said something if they were there before.
Hopefully rebuilt/balanced driveshaft and new axle shaft will fix it. If not I have a suspicion it may be the converter since it only seems to happen under light throttle when the converter would be locked

Announcing my arrival in Boston tunnels

60-100 pull. Got to 120 but had to put phone down and 2 hand the wheel.
I try not to do that every day on the way to work lol. It’s around 5 AM and there’s a great underpass as I get onto I-5. So much fun.

My chrome lug nuts and blank center caps came in today. I’m pretty stoked with how everything turned out. The factory caps said GMC and their nuts from prior wheels didn’t look good.

I’m really leaning on taking off Tahoe badges and leaving Z-71. Thinking about taking off pin stripes. What do you think?

I think it would look good. Even better without the molding but you prolly want to keep it for door protection?
