Finished up the steering wheel swap. Took longer than expected since I had to swap the buttons from the old steering wheel. Weird thing is none of the controls work. They didn’t work before either.

Nope. I was just careful, you can wipe it off the paint if you don’t let it dry.Did you mask off the paint when you applied the cerakote?
Where are you located?Today I gave a nice quick interior detail before the winter sets in here
Western NY Buffalo being the closest cityWhere are you located?
Yeah you get a pretty good winter season there. It’***** or miss here in the valleys of the NW. We have had some fairly serious winter weather here but most years it doesn’t even snow. Now up in the Cascades that’s a different story.Western NY Buffalo being the closest city
You can paint that console. SEM makes matching interior colors for plastic.Installed a center console out of a 2003 Sierra. It's not a perfect color match, but at least I have cup holders.
The truck had a bad case of drive shaft slip yoke clunk so I installed a new Dorman nickel plated yoke and new U-joints and so far the problem is solved. Changed the filter and fluid in the transmission while I was there.
I was working to beat the rain so no pictures.
