Finished up the steering wheel swap. Took longer than expected since I had to swap the buttons from the old steering wheel. Weird thing is none of the controls work. They didn’t work before either.

Picked up a Suburban. Ended doing the rear brakes and valve cover gaskets. Installing a Esky steering wheel later this afternoon. Needs a good interior/exterior cleaning.

Mileage? If that's all original in there, it was treated to good oil and timely changes.

*EDIT* Never mind. I replied before seeing the rest of your posts. They took care of it. Good find!

I forgot to get a pic but I finally washed The Beast yesterday since the rain stopped for a day. I will substitute a cute pic of my dog Kinjo in place of the nice clean Beast. Kind of a one beast for the other type thing. Yes this is how he sleeps.

Thats likely because of the radio. Might not have the RSWC interface, or have been wired for it.

Western NY Buffalo being the closest city
Yeah you get a pretty good winter season there. It’***** or miss here in the valleys of the NW. We have had some fairly serious winter weather here but most years it doesn’t even snow. Now up in the Cascades that’s a different story.

Installed a center console out of a 2003 Sierra. It's not a perfect color match, but at least I have cup holders.
The truck had a bad case of drive shaft slip yoke clunk so I installed a new Dorman nickel plated yoke and new U-joints and so far the problem is solved. Changed the filter and fluid in the transmission while I was there.
I was working to beat the rain so no pictures.

You can paint that console. SEM makes matching interior colors for plastic.

Did u also do the sway bar bushings? I did front and rear and man what a huge difference!!! She feels safer and tighter at 70+ mph than before.
I did the sway bar bushings about a month ago, but ran out of time that day to do both. Curious to see now that both are new and Energy Suspension if I will feel an improvement.
