what amp????

I know I read someone is using a amp to power the Bose sub in the 99 denali console
With no problem so what amp is being used? Plus they mounted it where the Bose amp

Used to be. I put a toggle switch to toggle between the 2 Kenwood amps for the2 12's
In back and a amp for the Bose sub. I did have a small amp on the Bose and I was
Impressed with the bass up front well the amp shut down can't handle the 1 or 2 ohm
Load.

i ordered the mtx th350.1d 350w @1 ohm amp this should do it.

this bose sub is 1.4 ohms according to my multi meter so this mtx
amp should handle it.

it look like a 5x7 with a heavy magnet. i got the pic www.photobucket.com/qlcp i did get my mtx th350.1d amp today
and got it hooked up to the bose sub but i still need to tweak
the amp settings i had it bumping for a while and the amp wasn't
hot it i'm happy with it. i could have went with a more rms amp

but i didn't want to over power the bose sub.

i am at about 75 % to remove my 2 kenwood 7252 amps
bridged at 500 w and my 2 cerwin vagas 12's and just

use this bose sub... man this little sub bass fills up the truck and you can hear the rumble outside of the truck
too. then i will only have 2 kenwood kac-8452 amps

I picked up another 99 esky console paid more than wanted too this one is missing the top lids,
The rear cup holder BUT the sub works that's all that I wanted out of this and the CD changer
Came in it too.
I guess I will find those missing parts and sell it minus the sub. This sub will go in the back
Behind one of the panels so maby now I can get my cargo space back taking the 12's out and
The amp rack out for a stealth install.
both Bose subs will will play together.

Not sure how big the whole unit is, could you fit it one under each front seat? Or the backseat?

It's to big for them locations but you can put it in the rear and the bass fills the interior just get
The the panels from the trucks with rear AC and hide it behind it like I'm going to do.
Today I got the rear pass side panels that covers the AC unit more room to mount my amps.

Well my other amp will come Monday and I think it will mount on top of the Bose sub
And still fit behind the panel and the other mtx I'm going to move it under the console so this
Leaves me with the 2 Kenwood 4 ch amps to hide some where.

The pass rear panel goes pass the window there is a extra wide black film on the 97 that
Keeps from seeing the backside of the panel I might just spray it black on the back and I might
have to put the tire jack tools under the seat and cut the bracket off for more room to fit the
2 kenwoods with fans.

got the sec mtx amp wired to the rear mounted bose sub still have
some tweaking to do and it sounds even better now.. i have to
rattle proof the panel that's covering the sub &amp.

i may have to start looking for a few of these subs. sounds like a good plan to make some space, especially when i start cutting up my rear for bags. awesome work good sir

thanks slipping!! i did find another 99 console last week
it is missing the rear cup holder and the top lid latch is broke . i need to test the bose sub and i already took the
console apart .

Found a wrecked 99 escky in the junk yard the console was broken but the sub was still good so I
Have 2 extras now . I'm trying to get one complete console to sell.
