Vortec 454/4L80e HD swapped 1999 Tahoe OBS

Tru Cool Max 40K install. I should have made a video on this install, because the ones I've seen make it look more complicated than it really is.

Need to pick up a spacer for the upper right bracket, then install the cooler lines. Pretty easy job.

Cooler installed, transmission still get hot. Got it up to 252 last night. Must be something internal to the transmission

I was thinking maybe clogged line as well, but I did have fluid coming out of the lines. Could be a small clog

Maybe try to disconnect the line at both ends and blow some compressed air through it--2,000 psi lol.

Exhaust is getting fabricated then back to the transmission shop.

Going true dual 3", no cats, dual electric exhaust cutouts, Black Widow Angry Housewife mufflers (should have seen the wife look at me when I told her lmao), and 12" black stainless rolled edge tips

So I found a deal on ebay that I couldn't pass up. It's a Chevrolet Performance 8.0L (488 cubic inch) LFI! Was meant for industrial use, and can run on CNG, propane, or gas. It uses a Gen VI 7.4 block, but uses a 4.250" stroke, forged internals, so it's pretty much a stroked 454!

Motor was used, but it looks like it's hardly been used. Thing is super clean!

Drove the Hoe home and my GAHD does it sound beautiful! Idk if video clips will do it justice. Under light to medium throttle, it's deep and throaty, but when you get into it it's raspy and deep!

You'll see it didn't start or idle the best, but it's due to too much fuel pressure. Doesn't always do this, but just need to swap our fuel pressure regulators. I'll get a better video next time, and I'll get one while driving.
