Thanks Burb. I am familiar with regear but diesels the regearing is much for optional to the user where as I understand from the little reading I've done with a gas motor it is much more recommended/basically necessary. I need to keep my eyes out for a regearing chart so I can figure it out. Although depending on the wife we will see if any of this happens haha. She is okay with exhaust/intake and comfort items (nav/dvd and stereo system) I read that the airaid jr is the best bang for the buck. What do you think for exhaust? Headers, cat-back, all of the above?

Yes, regarding the airaid jr kit. As for the exhaust again it depends on what your end goals are and what you're looking to spend. If you're under a tight budget simply do resonator delete and weld in a Magnaflow or flowmaster muffler and call it a day. If you've got some money to play with consider some long tube headers and a nice catback system like a Corsa.

Once those things are done you'll definitely want to get a black bear tune!!

That's true. I need to get around to getting under there and seeing what I need to get to work on haha. I was looking at a less expensive kit (Flowmaster) but wasn't sure. The sad thing is I lived in San Diego for 6 years and didn't know about Blackbear or own a gas vehicle...sure wish I would have bought this before I got stationed in 29 Palms but the nice thing is I'm still within reasonable driving distance to have the truck live tuned. I'm still fairly new to the gas stuff...so I may end up asking a lot of dumb questions haha.

The good thing is Justin also does a lot of traveling to different areas around the country so that offers the ability for almost anyone to get a live tune if they're patient enough :)

Also....ask as many questions as you want. That's how we all learn. There's a wealth of knowledge on this forum to draw from :waytogo:

I built my truck with zombies in mind. Brush guard is a definite necessity so you can ram the zombies and not ruin your steering or cooling system. Then a lift and off road tires so you can drive around all the wrecked or abandoned cars on the highway that are going to be blocking the road. Then, I have a CB radio and antenna so I can stay in touch with other zombie survivors. I also have a "black box" in my truck where I keep random things like tools, extra gas, oil, coolant, water bottles, fire extinguisher, etc... Hope this helps the thread get back on topic...Uncle Yates...Uncle 07Burb...

I really like your truck a lot. Do you keep your black box in the back where the 3rd seat goes? I've thought about getting one of those travel box things for the roof but haven't seen one I like enough yet. But really like your setup...did you create any kind of build thread or do you have any other pictures you wouldn't mind sharing?

Custom strong strong grille guard, custom rear bumper with aux lights in em, hids, added leds to the outside lights, getting towing mirrors getting cb radio, getting my basket and gonna install alot of aux lights in the front and roof, the lift im getting and the rims im gonna install. The badass paint job i want so bad but cant get right now...

I love that ammo..need to pick up some. what's everyone's exhaust recommendation? No exhaust shops around here, don't have a welder so it would need to be something I can build myself like a pre built cat back kit or something..

MBRP has a nice, reasonably price cat back for these 07+ vehicles. You can order them from numerous places and they sound good :waytogo:

i highly recommend the "Scythed chariot" modification. figure out a way to mount blades
(approximately 3 ft) to protrude from the middle of all your wheels. that way in case the zombies manage to approach your vehicle, you have a chance to possibly sever their legs off while trying to evade them. leaving them incapacitated.

I have it buckled up in the third row seat actually, like a passenger, haha! I Don't have a build thread, but my sig tells everything I have done. Here are some pictures, though. And more if you go to my albums.
