My wife's Tahoe needs new shoes and I'm trying to figure out which size to go with. Currently, it's stock with 275/55R20 tires with OEM 20" wheels. I'm installing new struts soon with a 2" Rough Country leveling kit. My local tire shop recommended 275/60R20s but I'm not sure it's going to give me the look I'm going for, more aggressive. But not so much my wife complains about it being too drastic on handling. I was thinking 295/55R20 Ridge Grapplers but unsure about clearing the upper control arms and the rear arms. Any thoughts and/or pics of your current setup?

295/55r20 should be perfectly fine, it's not the control arms you need to worry about it's the sway bar and splash shield/guard. slim chance they could rub on the sway bar at full lock I have 305/55r20's on the wifes 2016 with a 2"level and it only rubs a smidge at full lock, not a big deal as long as you know that's what the noise was....
if the splash guard happens to rub zip ties can be used to pull it back a hair.

I'm running 305/50x20 tires on my 07 with no lift and no rubbing.

Have you made the choice?
With a 2" level, you’ve definitely got options. The 275/60R20 is the safe bet, but it can look a little skinny if you want an aggressive stance.

If you go for those 295/55R20 Ridge Grapplers, just watch out for the upper control arms. Since they’re wide and have those chunky side lugs, they can rub at full lock on stock wheels. You might need a tiny spacer to clear everything.

I actually grabbed my last set through Tire Agent, and it made the guesswork way easier. Maybe look at a 285/55R20 too. It’s a solid middle ground that looks mean but won't make the handling feel "mushy" for your wife.
