I ran those locking cams for a little while but I couldn't find anywhere to give me a good alignment with them so I went back to the stock style

Project update: I have been spending two or three hours every night for the last eight or so nights working on this truck after we put our son to bed. I went with Moog upper and lowers. Lower hardware all came out so its getting cleaned up and reinstalled. Upper I went with OE equivalent from NAPA. I put some never sieze on the shank of the bolts but not on the threads. I know it needs to lock down for alignment but I'll be a monkey's uncle before I fight with the upper hardware again. I spent 5 hours on one stuck bolt. Either way, should be done in the next few days. Alignment is scheduled for next week. Also taking this time to do calipers and rubber hose in the front. Both front brakes started sticking intermittently. This has been a humbling experience, but I'm glad I tried it myself and I saved thousands over what a shop was going to charge me.

The whole reason I bought my cordless sawzall was to do the control arms on my old Armada. I guess those come seized from the factory.
Should I ever be cursed with a "next time" I'll invest in some good blades!

That is the ONLY way that you learn how to wrench and improve your skills at doing it. Good work, and keep on wrenching, and saving LOTS of money.
