Spohn performance help

[Z-56 Hoe]

Ok so I have a 2001 Tahoe ArWD non auto ride with a 2/3" drop. Spindle front and spring rear with shock extenders I want to do a full swap to the SPOHN performance set up. Can some one tell me what I need they have two adjustable lower rear arms and like two uppers that are adjustable and then the standard rear lower and which pan hard bar. I am so dam confused. Grr. I work nights so calling and talking to them. Is almost outta the question. Can anyone assist me please?

Tony is prob the best resource for this. I would say that with your performance oriented build, you will want all the adjustability you can get in your rear end.

what are you trying to get out of the truck. Before you go all out I would do a rear swaybar/shocks/free travel mod/djm links/new bumpstops on axle. then look into the kit unless your rear oem bushings are shot

Tony he has had his Tahoe for 13 years and he drives it like well lets just say hard. It has new shocks we just ordered new bushing and bump stops, he is pushing a lot of power and it has a choppy ride right now.

He has a 2/3 spindle drop with shock extenders in the rear and a set of helper bags in the rear springs and new factory heavy gas shocks in rear and new stock ones in the front.

i would invest in
front/rear djm bar
rear panhard bar
rear djm swaybar links

Before you touch the upper and lower a arms in rear

He also is running a custom drive shaft for the 4l80 conversion he did and timkin hubs and spicer u bolts ?? Oh wait u joints. He works at night so I take his truck for him when he needs stuff done.

What are the front rear djm bars?

thats ok i have a 416 heads/cam 150 shot nitrous 4l80e trans with 12 bolt rear set up and 4.10 gears wtih a 3800 yank converter on a customers truck and that thing is a beast for its size and i set his truck with a 2/4 kit he loves it.

i would do the above first before going to the arms

He has a lq4 6.0 bored and with a stroker kit, heads cam vett fuel rails 8.1l injector, tbss intake with ls2 throttle body, full exhaust lont tube dynateks headers, walbro 400lph fuel pump msd , 28-3200 stall dual billet clutch converter with 410s in the rear . He also has a ford 9.34 rear axle and some kit that is from marrow that he said is to put the ford axle under his tahoe.

Elevation and temp plz? Hell love that he barely hit 2k miles the other day so hebis waiting to get all out on it.

sears point california in high 70s temp and elevation is pretty much sea level. 91 octane gas also. That was done on 22 inch tbss replica wheels with 305 40 22 in rear. 60 foots i got it down from 1.85 to 1.71

I've been running a custom made adjustable, poly panhard bar and rear LCA(lower control arms) for over 2 yrs now and love em. Here's my thread about em: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26022
Adjustable panhard bar is a must IMO, for lowered rigs. But I kinda had to do the rear LCA because I was getting a popping/binding coming from RLCA, due to being low. But I have noticed an increase in stiffness and less sway and all around better handling/control. Someday I will get the upper arms so iI can adjust back the axle to center. But for now, the beefier adjustable poly bushing LCA have improved the rear end.
I also have larger sways f/r, poly sway mounts f/r, shortened poly sway links f/r, trailing arm relocaters, helper bags ect..

If your looking to stiffen up the rear, beefed up LCA's will be better then the stamped steel factory ones. But the uppers are solid from factory at least. Spohns UCA are definitely better then the stock ones, but I want them to be able to re center my axle, and not so much for stiffness (but obviously superior to stocks)

Tony are the rear djm swaybar links only helpfull with lowered trucks? I have the rear hellwig sway bar, but used the stock links. My truck is stock height.
