Sound Deadener - how much?

OK. Got the burb gutted, new carpet is on the way.

Now is the time for me to put some sound deadener on the floor and quarters with everything removed.

I found a hushmat kit that has 30 sheets (58 sq ft). Is that enough to get the floor and maybe some of the quarters? I should have measured before I left the house for the week but forgot.

Found the answer to my question buried on the hushmat website. For the floor of a burb, 67 sq ft. for a Tahoe, 51 sq ft.

25% coverage is a good start. You can get away with less if you are clever with placement, but that ought to help with the panel modes. Where sound is coming from other areas MLV works really well for helping it. I always use a focused approach to battle annoyances.
