McMaster only had 5/8-11 coarse thread. I found an online seller, Allensfasteners.com, that had 5/8- 18 fine thread grade 9’s. I could only find grade 8 nylock nuts though so I’m guessing those will have to do.

What about Grainger or MSC?

id look into the crushed head locking nuts instead of nyloks for something that critical or double nut it

i say that but ive def done some sketchy **** lol
